Dark Pink Velvet Vest

 This Vest is made from a Crazy quilt from the 1950s and contains fabrics that are wool, velvet and even silk. The whimsical style is so telling of the women who labored over these works of art. The talent and skill shown in the different styles of stitching really contribute to the overall beauty and eclectic feel of this piece. The lining is also a vintage fabric from my mother’s collection and adds just the right touch of elegance and softness. The rich vibrant tones really capture the attention of everyone who sees this gorgeous gal! A real show stopper that tells quite the stories!

• 23” back of neck to bottom of hem
• 18” laying flat, armpit to armpit 
• We consider this to be a size Small and best fits a size 0-4 depending on styling preferences and bust size. Please see measurements before purchasing for a specific fit.

 

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
