Chocolate Brown Flower Garden Trench Jacket

This gorgeous Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt coat is made in our trench style jacket from tiny hexagon pieces. The colors have a beautiful faded feel to them in pastel colors with this delicious chocolate brown hexagon design surrounding the flowers and creating this whimsical border that is a show stopper!

Most of the fabrics are 100% cotton but the center of the flowers seem to have been made from a silk fabric that has begun to shatter over time. I feel this adds to the charm and character of the coat. If you are looking for a perfect coat, this gal is not for you. She is stunning but has a few flaws that you really don’t notice because of her gorgeous patina and elegant and sophisticated vibe. She has stood the test of time and is stunning! This is considered a light weight quilt with thin batting.

• 45” back of neck to bottom of hem
• 19” laying flat, armpit to armpit, buttoned jacket 
  
• 25” shoulder seam to the bottom of the arm, uncuffed
• This size best fits a size 0-4 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size Small. Please see measurements before purchasing for a specific fit. This jacket has 2 generous pockets.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
