 This unique trench coat is made from a vintage mediation quilt with the most intricate details in each and every one of the mini mariners compass circles. The most playful use of color married with the whimsical feel of the garment makes it seem like a magical cape to be worn only by a princess or magician! There are a few age spots on the inside of the quilt that can only be seen when taken off but I think it adds to the history of the piece and tells a story of a life fully lived and loved! This is a medium weight quilt but still light enough to be worn year round and styled for whatever magic you want to create in it! Simply a Masterpiece! We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
