Red and Navy Ocean Waves Trench Coat

 This Stunning trench coat is made from a vintage Ocean Waves quilt and is over 100 years old! This is one of the most beautiful vintage quilts with the most vivid and vibrant colors! The red on the inside of this coat just makes me so happy! It is so rich and soft! Everyone that has seen this coat has been so complementary of it and Wanted to know more about it! It was purchased from an Iowa estate auction and is hand sewn and hand quilted. Simply a stunning piece of American history up-cycled  into wearable art! This beauty does show signs of age but it only adds to the charm and beauty of the piece in our opinion. 

• Measurements:
• 45” back of neck to bottom of hem
• 20” laying flat, armpit to armpit, buttoned jacket 
• 26” shoulder seam to the bottom of the arm, uncuffed
• This jacket best fits a size 4-10 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size Medium. Please see measurements before purchasing  for a specific fit.
• This jacket has 2 generous pockets

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
